National Police Week
In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls, as National Police Week, when we pay tribute to the service and sacrifice of our fallen law enforcement officers. National Police Week is a collaborative effort of various organizations dedicated to honoring America’s law enforcement and supporting their survivors.

Vice President: Sarah Snapko, surviving child of Sgt. Michael Muzychenko, Lyndhurst PD (OH), EOW: 11/25/1977 and co-worker survivor (MPD)
Secretary: Mary Turner, co-worker survivor (U.S. Capitol Police)
Treasurer: Danny Hickson, co-worker survivor (MPD)
In April, the new Board will appoint non- voting Board and Committee members.
